How does someone register?

They post a comment on here with their name and location, a way to be contacted and whether they want to be a ‘regional’ organizer. I may start a Facebook page and a Google+ circle through which participants can converse.

What happens after someone registers?

A location will have a ‘regional’ organizer. This person will recruit any people willing to participate in the event and find a suitable location for the Jam. Communication through this site (or another method) and through the ‘regional’ organizer will keep all participants informed of event details.

I haven’t stated a time or date yet. The Jam would happen later in the year as it would take some organizing.

I am definitely in! I will see whether I can be a regional organizer in Toronto or find someone else here to do it. Thanks for following your inspiration :-Diane

      Hi Diane
Looking forward to having you lead a Toronto team. Some time next month I want to hold an online meeting of all those who have so far said they would lead a team. I will keep you posted.

I’d be happy to organize an event in Bloomington, IN. I’ve already run some board game jams here, although much shorter (3-4 hours), so most of the leg work should be easy.

    Hi Clive,

    Great idea.

If you are interested in spreading the GameJam across the Atlantic, then I’m sure some of our members would like to have a go. We are a monthly playtesting meetup in London, England. You can find us at http://www.playtest.co.uk

    Cheers, Rob
